Confidentiality and safety of your personal data as described below is of great importance to Yorglass Cam Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. Yorglass Cam Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. aims at ensuring that the requirements for compliance with the Law no. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“PPD Law”) are met properly and a data protection and processing policy of international standards is established. All contents on this Website are protected under the provisions of the Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works, the Decree Law No. 556 on the Protection of Trademarks, and within the frame of the Law no. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“PPD Law”).

Information on Your Personal Data

In order to provide a better service to our members, to carry out and complete your processes and communicate with you, to give you information about products, services, campaigns and promotions, to better understand your preferences, to conduct statistical analysis and to strengthen the security of the Website, and to fulfil our legal obligations arising from the relevant legislation, including the Law No. 5651 on the Regulation of Publications on the Internet and Fighting against Crimes Committed by Means of Such Publications, the Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, the Turkish Criminal Code No. 5237 and the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, as well as the secondary legislation promulgated under the relevant laws, we process certain data of yours intended to identify the Member directly or indirectly, including but not limited to: Your name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, gender, date of birth, tax identification number, personal interests, billing and delivery addresses, and information authorized to be shared through social media channels if you are connected to the Website through your social media accounts.

In addition to this data, aggregated statistical data not containing any personal data, such as frequency and times of Website visits, date and time of placing an order and the IP address at the time of order, statistics of visited product pages and ordered products may also be collected and processed by us to analyse and understand visitor behaviours and preferences.

We process and store this personal data with your express consent, in order for you to benefit from the services we provide on the Website, by taking appropriate information safety measures, on the condition that such personal data is not used for purposes and scope other than those stated in this Confidentiality and Cookie Policy.

We use some of your data we collect in the database for periodic campaign studies to be sent at regular intervals, designing special promotional activities for customer profiles, and customer classification studies for ensuring that unsolicited e-mails are not sent, as well as in accordance with the relevant legal regulations.

We may share your personal data with third parties with whom we collaborate for our services (such as companies providing courier, shipping, call centre, database services, etc.) and with public authorities as required by our legal obligations. Your personal data such as your visit to the Website or your membership, and traffic information such as your navigation data may be shared with public institutions and organizations that are legally authorized to request such information for your safety and the fulfilment of obligations under the law. However, we shall not use your personal data for any commercial purpose or share them with third parties, except as required by the aforesaid activities and the applicable legislation.

Your Rights relating to Your Personal Data and How You Can Exercise Those Rights

We are obliged to store membership information which we are legally required to store. However, the Member shall always have the right to request information on his/her personal data, access to such data, request correction or deletion of the same, and to learn whether or not such data is used for their intended purposes.

a) to find out whether any of your personal data has been processed;

b) to request information about the processing of your personal data;

c) to learn the purpose of processing of your personal data;

d) if your personal data has been transferred to third parties in Turkey or abroad, to learn who such persons are;

e) to request the correction of personal data that may have been incompletely or inaccurately processed,

f) to request the deletion or destruction of personal data if the reasons for the processing of personal data have ceased to exist or if the Company has no legal basis or legitimate interest to process such data;

g) to request from the Company to ensure that third parties authorized by the Company to process personal data also respect your rights under this section;

h) to object to any adverse outcome that may arise due to the processing of your personal data through automated systems; and

i) to claim compensation for any damages incurred by you due to any unlawful processing of your personal data.

For How Long is Your Personal Data Stored?

Pursuant to the Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, the records of the withdrawal of approval shall be stored for 1 year following such date; and any other record regarding the content of the commercial electronic message and all other records relating to the message shall be stored for 3 years, to be submitted to the relevant ministry when necessary. After the expiration of such periods, your personal data shall be deleted, destroyed or anonymized by our company ex officio or upon your request.
