Yorglass Joins CDP Supplier Engagement A List, Rising Among Global Sustainability Leaders

Yorglass Transforms Environmental Responsibility into Global Recognition

By placing environmental responsibility at the heart of its business model, Yorglass has been named to the prestigious CDP Supplier Engagement A List, turning its sustainability journey into an internationally recognized success. CDP – a global platform that assesses how companies manage their carbon emissions and environmental impacts – awarded Yorglass this top score, reflecting both the company’s environmental performance and its effective collaboration across the supply chain.

This achievement extends far beyond Yorglass’s own operations. Through its sustainability-driven supply chain approach aligned with international standards, Yorglass not only guides its suppliers but also provides customers with low-carbon, sustainable products. By strengthening local partnerships, the company reduces environmental impact while making a direct contribution to local economies.

Yorglass Chairman of the Board Semavi Yorgancılar emphasized:

“This success is the result of the collective will of all our suppliers and business partners who share our vision for a sustainable world. Our goal is to create a lasting and meaningful impact across our industry.”

CDP A List: A Global Benchmark in Sustainability

Evaluating the environmental performance of more than 24,000 companies worldwide, CDP is recognized as the most trusted sustainability reporting platform for investors and business leaders. The CDP Supplier Engagement A List highlights companies that deliver the highest levels of transparency and improvement-oriented management across every link of their supply chains. This year, only 2% of all assessed companies achieved this honor.

Advancing Steadily Toward Net Zero

Last year, Yorglass improved its CDP Climate score from B to A- and its Water score from D to B, demonstrating multi-dimensional progress in sustainability. In line with the UN Science Based Targets initiative, the company has committed to reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 42% and Scope 3 emissions by 25% by 2032, on its path toward net zero emissions by 2050. To this end, Yorglass continues to transform all its operations in line with a “Zero Emissions” vision.
