Yorglass joins UN Global Compact
Yorglass joins UN Global Compact. Yorglass CEO Semavi Yorgancılar said, “We are delighted to be the first to join in our sector. With this contract, we will comply with the rules set in the fields of labor standards, human rights, fight against corruption and environmental problems, and we will guarantee a sustainable future.”
Yorglass participating in the UN Global Compact, was a pioneer in glass processing sector in Turkey. With this signature, Yorglass promised to abide by the principles set out in the areas of human rights, anti-corruption, environment and labor standards.
We will not compromise
Semavi Yorgancılar, CEO of Yorglass, who stated the importance of the UN Global Compact stated, “I am very happy to become the first to join in our sector. With this contract, we will comply with the rules set in the fields of labor standards, human rights, anti-corruption and environment, and we will guarantee a sustainable future.” Yorgancılar stated that they will ensure the creation and protection of social and environmental conditions in order to contribute to the balanced growth of the global economy. Yorgancılar added: “In our company, which guides its sector with its experience of almost half a century, we will never fail to support these rights, which are of great importance, and we will not tolerate discrimination. Because we know that a beautiful and sustainable future only passes through goodness, tolerance and sensitivity to environmental conditions.”
